Considering the color associated with Valentine’s Day, you cannot go wrong with buying her red or pink jewelry.  Jewelry associated with this special day would go great with the dozen or so red roses you will be getting her as well.  Buying her diamond jewelry is the perfect way to show her how much she means to you; diamonds are forever, after all.

Besides these awesome gifts you should make reservations at her favorite restaurant or better yet, cook for her instead.  Search through the Internet and find a simple but tasty dish she will enjoy and try cooking it a couple of times before the big day as practice.  See if you can make it a surprise dinner after work.  She will really appreciate the effort it took to do this all for her.  The jewelry can act as the bookend for the night.

Gifting a Tennis Bracelet

Diamond tennis braceletNothing says “Happy Anniversary” like a tennis bracelet.  Leading up to this day you have been both excited and nervous about getting her something really special.  You left work early and headed into the store early to beat out the crowds.  You spoke with the courteous salesperson about getting a bracelet for your special someone.  After what seemed like a long time your eyes fell on a lovely tennis bracelet that you know would look lovely on her.  You ask the salesperson to take it out and she hands it over for you to check out.  From your pocket you fish out an old bracelet she used to wear and you size it next to the other one: they are exactly the same length.  Smiling up to the sales lady you say, “This is perfect.”

Later that night after dinner you tell her that you have a gift to give her.  From your pocket you take out the velvet covered box and you see the surprise in her eyes.  You open the box and she touches it gently, almost fearing to break it.  With a smile on your face you take the diamond tennis bracelet out of the box and place it around her wrist.  She hugs and kisses you and tells you how much she loves you; you do the same.  This is the best anniversary you have ever had.
